FACTS
- The original concept of Black Moon Club (including the basic
logo design) was conceived in 2000.
The idea was to make website that worked as some sort of social
club. The project died shortly after, due to a lack of solid ideas.
Four years later the concept was retaken but this time, as a theme
for an album.
- The final fragment of "Enjoy The Harmotar" was recorded
the first of November 2002. You can tell the difference because
this fragment is in stereo.
- In a beginning
the Black Moon Club album, was thought as a SINGLE, with just
six tracks. It would be the introduction of a following full album.
Only three tracks (one was a remix) were completed, but due to
some hard drive problems, those where lost and therefor none of
them ended up in the actual album.
- "Mr.Meeks
& The Invisible Band" is an unusual tribute to Syd Barret.
- "Ybom" is an anagram and a tribute to the musician
of the same name.
- The 95% of the tracks was created by accident.
- "Cold Evolution"
has parts of another track in the same album.
- More than 15 musicians where invited. None of them came in.
- During the sessions,
there were conflicts between the author and the producer. Given
that both are the same person, everything solved quietly.
